Due to cold march weather here are a couple of trade tips.
If you have tanks or any pipes in your loft, open the loft hatch about 10mm to 15mm and wedge open with cardboard etc.
This allows sme heat to rise into loft space and protects pipes and tanks from freezing.
Due to new insulation heat due not rise into loft spaces make spaces very cold.
2nd tip turn off water supply to outside garden taps, when turned off open and leave open tap so that water in tap has somewhere to expand if it freezes, once weather get warm again then turn water back on and turn off tap.
3rd Tip if you find due to low outside tempertures that you boiler has gone of the maybe due to fact that your condense pipe is exposed to elements.
Try defrosting condense pipe before calling out a plumber as this is a very common problem in low tempertures. reset boiler once you think pipe is defrosted.
